Scope
This part of JB/T 8483 specifies the inspection methods and corresponding tolerances for geometric accuracy and working accuracy of general-purpose ordinary-grade versatile lathes. This part applies to versatile lathes with maximum swing diameter over bed of 250 mm to 400 mm and maximum workpiece length up to 1 000 mm. This part applies only to the accuracy inspection of the machine tool, and does not apply to the running inspection of the machine tool (such as vibration, abnormal noise, creeping of moving parts, etc.), or the parameter inspection of the machine tool (such as speed, feed rate, etc.). These inspections should be carried out before the accuracy inspection.
